Upland Hills Health Facilitates Men to Know
their Numbers
Knowing your numbers (your cholesterol, blood pressure and
blood glucose levels) is a great way to be proactive about
your health. In response to many community requests, Upland
Hills Health has launched a program just for the men in our
communities to Know their Numbers.
Thanks to a grant that
Upland Hills Health recently received from the Wisconsin
Office of Rural Health, we are able to offer free health
screenings to 75 men in our communities. Results of the screenings
will be shared with the participants and, if they wish, their
physicians. Each participant must commit to having one lab
draw and screening in November or December and a second in
August or September.
“We
are happy to offer this program to the men in our communities. Often men avoid
doctor visits and that can sometimes be very dangerous. We hope that the Know
your Numbers program helps men become a bit more proactive about their health,” explained
Karl Pustina, CFO at Upland Hills Health and a driving force behind the program.
To sign up for the Know your Numbers program, please
contact Community Relations at 930-7112. Please call by December
24th, as initial screenings must be completed and we are
able to offer the program to a limited number of individuals.

These staff members at Upland Hills Health have committed to
being a part of the Know your Numbers campaign, aimed at
the
men in our communities. To sign up for the program, contact
Community Relations at 930-7112 by December 24th.
