Aging bodies don’t need to become weak and
frail. This unique class is designed for seniors with
achy, aging joints or arthritis. Taught by Joan Pape,
a Certified Fitness Specialist for Older Adults (ISSA),
this class addresses the special needs of seniors.
Pape explores and explains the proper methods for
warming up and building strength. Participants will
also learn techniques to enhance balance and agility.
The focus on alleviating pain while increasing the
ease of accomplishing daily tasks makes this a great
opportunity for those who cherish an active and independent
lifestyle.
Classes are open to all; you need not be a Therapy & Wellness
Center member. Classes go March 4, 2008 through April
10, 2008 and are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
from 9 am- 9:45. Class sizes are limited. To register
