Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in (or entering) grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students learn safety, child care, first aid & rescue, and life & business skills.

Pre-registration and payment is required. Register early as classes fill quickly!  Both payment and registration forms must be received to confirm your registration.

Class fee is $45.  Payment by check may be mailed with registration forms.  Due to the short turnaround for this first class of the summer, it is recommended that payment and registration be dropped off at the Main Entrance at the hospital or that payment be made by phone using a credit card.

Scholarships available based on financial need.
