East-West Hallway Open and Additional Hallway Construction
The excitement is building at Upland Hills Health! We are happy to report that the west-east hallway, connecting the front of the hospital to the clinics at the back of the hospital is now open!
At the same time, another small portion of the main corridor between the main lobby and the Specialty Services Entrance will be closed until May 1, while a fire barrier is built. This means that patients cannot access the main entrance from the Specialty Services Entrance for the next month, from inside the building.
The east side (back) of the hospital continues to be CLOSED for patients and visitors, as it is a construction zone.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
For ALL appointments, you will park in the front of the hospital, in the lot that faces the highway.

If your appointment is with SSM Health Dean Medical Group, SSM Health Dean Multi-Specialty Clinics, Drs. Chubb, Le, McDonald, Fattouh, or with Brenda Rubert or Tonya Bonson, it is best to use the Physician Offices Entrance and follow the newly opened hallway to the back of the building.

If your appointment is with Surgery, Lab or Imaging, or if you are visiting a patient in the hospital, it is best to use the Main Entrance and proceed according to directions from the admission staff.

If your appointment is with Heart, Lung and Sleep, with OB/GYN, with General Surgery, with Orthopedic Surgery, with a Registered Dietitian or with Therapy, the Specialty Services entrance will be the most convenient.
As always during construction, plan for a little extra time to get to your appointment. Staff and volunteers are available to help you find your way.

Patients Rerouted as UHH Prepares for Next Step in Building Project
As the building project continues at Upland Hills Health, the East Entrance and parking area at the back of campus will be closed until further notice to ensure the safety of everyone. ALL visitors and patients must park in the front of the building and enter through the Main Entrance or the Specialty Services Entrance. This affects patients going to the hospital or hospital services, SSM Health Dean clinics (both specialty and family practice), the Wellness Center, or Upland Hills Health providers on campus.
“We are very excited to bring our community a new hospital, and we are about to get started,” said Lisa Schnedler, CEO of Upland Hills Health. “With the project comes growing pains that may create temporary inconveniences for our patients. We recognize this and plan to do everything possible to minimize that while we are building the new hospital.”
The community is invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the new hospital at 10 am on Friday, June 29th. A short program will be held to speak about the project and its impact on improving care and accessibility for the community.
Greeters and personnel will be available to help patients find their way, as patients may need to travel a longer distance to reach their appointment. Clinic staff are encouraging patients to allow extra time to get to your appointment.

Upland Hills Health General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics and Pain Management Have Moved!
Finishing touches are being concluded in the new office space, and the following providers will see patients in the NEW clinic space on Monday, June 10, 2018!
Please park in the front of the hospital and enter the Specialty Clinics Entrance.
These providers will be straight ahead of that entrance, in the space that was formerly used by SSM Health-Dean specialists.

If you have an appointment with an SSM Dean Specialist, you’ll be entering at the East Entrance (back of the building) and heading up the elevators to the new 2nd floor space for your appointments. Please call 937-7000 with any questions related to your appointment.
