Upland Hills Health among Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the Nation

[Dodgeville]  Upland Hills Health was recently named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in the United States. This designation is awarded by The National Rural Association’s Rural Health Policy Institute, iVantage Health Analytics, and the Chartis Center for Rural Health. As a top performing CAH, Upland Hills Health is recognized as being one of the very best of the 1,339 rural safety-net hospitals in the nation. Seven out of 58 critical access hospitals in Wisconsin made the list.

CAHs are located in rural areas, can have a maximum of 25 acute care inpatient beds, and provide 24-hour emergency services. The Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals play a key role in providing a safety net to communities across America.
