Upland Hills Health Mineral Point Center Recognized for High Vaccination Rates
The Upland Hills Health Mineral Point Medical Center has been selected as one of the Wisconsin Immunization Program’s annual “Big Shot” awardees.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services recognizes organizations that had outstanding immunization rates for 2024, according to data pulled from the state’s immunization registry. Upland Hills Health Mineral Point recorded 95 percent of patients who had at least one dose of the MMR vaccine by 2 years old, qualifying the center for this recognition.
“We are incredibly proud to be recognized by the Wisconsin Immunization Program for our commitment to the health and well-being of our community,” said UHH CEO and President Lisa Schnedler. “This achievement reflects the hard work of our dedicated staff, who are passionate about ensuring our patients receive the critical vaccines they need to stay healthy.”
“Our team is very proud to be recognized for our work to keep our patients updated on recommended preventive care like vaccines,” said Dr. Sarah Fox, family medicine physician at UHH Mineral Point Medical Center. “We know that vaccines like MMR are crucial to ensure that our patients and communities stay healthy. This high vaccination rate reflects our commitment to provide high quality care and education to all of our patients, as well as the relationship of trust and confidence that our patients have with our medical team.”
