Upland Hills Health is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Ankura Kadakia to its medical staff, expanding access to comprehensive, high-quality care for children from newborns through adolescence.
Dr. Ankura Kadakia brings a clinical focus area in children’s behavioral and brain health, pediatric dermatology—including acne, and complex care for patients with diverse medical needs. With a holistic, patient-centered approach, Dr. Kadakia is dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and developmental well-being of every child.
“Adding Dr. Kadakia to our team strengthens our ability to meet the growing needs of families in our region,” said Dr. Mark Thompson, CEO of Upland Hills Health. “Her expertise allows us to expand access to specialized pediatric services not only for our local community, but also for surrounding areas. This addition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality care close to home.”
Dr. Kadakia demonstrated leadership and innovation in several key areas, including:
- Establishing and leading a clinical focus in acne treatment for pediatric patients
- Delivering care for children with mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and ADHD.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Kadakia served as a Founding Medical Partner at Doctorpedia, a digital platform focused on improving doctor-patient communication. In this role, she contributed to the advisory medical board and created more than 200 educational videos to help families better understand pediatric health topics.
“I am committed to expanding access to high-quality, holistic pediatric care,” said Dr. Kadakia. “My goal is to ensure every child receives comprehensive, compassionate treatment while supporting families and strengthening the community we serve.”
Dr. Kadakia earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating in the top 10% of her class, and completed pediatric residency training at Norton Children’s Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and maintains certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
With this addition, Upland Hills Health continues to enhance its pediatric services, offering families expanded access to specialized care close to home.
