Joan Bachleitner Joins Board of Trustees

[Dodgeville] Upland Hills Health, Inc. welcomes Joan Bachleitner to the Board of Trustees. Bachleitner joins the nine-member board whose mission is to govern the Upland Hills Health, Inc., which includes the hospital, clinics and all associated program and services. Bachleitner will replace Todd Burchill of SSM Healthcare of Wisconsin who has served on the board since 2013. 

Joan Bachleitner is System Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for SSM Health in Wisconsin. 

Bachleitner joined SSM Health in May 2009 as a senior regional strategic planner after serving as a legal consultant. She was later promoted to Director of Strategic Development for the Wisconsin region. In July 2013, she was promoted to SSM Health System Vice President of Strategy and Business Integration. During her time at SSM’s System offices, she helped with several mergers and acquisitions as part of strategic and analytical consulting for the whole of SSM Health.

Bachleitner is originally from Wisconsin. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School and prior to her work for SSM Health, she was a practicing attorney in Madison and Chicago.

The Upland Hills Health Board of Trustees is made up of representatives from the communities of Barneveld, Dodgeville, Highland, Hollandale, Mineral Point, Spring Green and SSM Health of Wisconsin.
