Internationally Recognized Spine Surgeon Joins Upland Hills Health
Upland Hills Health is proud to welcome internationally recognized spine surgeon Dr. Thomas Zdeblick to the surgical team at Upland Hills Health.
Dr. Zdeblick is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience performing spine surgeries in Wisconsin. His practice focuses on minimally invasive techniques—procedures that reduce recovery time, minimize discomfort, and improve outcomes for patients.
With Dr. Zdeblick’s addition, Upland Hills Health is now the only provider in the region offering this level of comprehensive spine care, including advanced technologies such as minimally invasive instrumentation and precision-guided techniques.

Dr. Zdeblick previously served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and he has held leadership positions as President of both the Cervical Spine Research Society and the Lumbar Spine Research Society. His research, clinical practice, and teaching have helped shape modern spine care nationwide.
