Dodgeville Hospital One of the Best in Nation by The Women’s Choice Award

Upland Hills Health was named one of the top 50 hospitals in the country for patient experience by The Women’s Choice Award. Hospitals were ranked based on responses from female patients to the HCAHPS survey. Patients receive the survey after they are discharged from a hospital stay.

For 2023, female patients identified that the most important survey questions to their overall satisfaction included: their willingness to recommend the hospital, doctor communications, staff help, cleanliness, providing recovery information, explanation of medications, communication by nurses and peacefulness of their room at night.

Upland Hills Health earned a patient recommendation score of 88 out of 100, placing the Dodgeville hospital among the Top 50 hospitals in the nation. Upland Hills Health is joined in the top 50 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience by other member hospitals of the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative, including Stoughton Hospital, Southwest Health Center and Sauk Prairie Healthcare.
