Upland Hills Health is proud to announce they have received two national five-star rating awards through Becker’s Hospital Review. Becker’s compiled a list of hospitals that earned five-star ratings for nurse communication and five-star ratings for physician communication in each state, according to CMS’ Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems data. Upland Hills Health was one of only 208 hospitals in the nation to receive both of these awards.

CMS shares 10 HCAHPS star ratings based on publicly reported Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems measures. The physician communication and nurse communication star ratings combine data from HCAHPS survey questions and summarize how well patients feel that their nurses and physicians explained things clearly, listened carefully to them, and treated them with courtesy and respect. The star ratings are based on survey data collected from patients July 2024 through June 2025 and released in May 2026.
